With an aim to promote and excel in all forms of sports, Youth Service Centre (YSC) was established in 1972 on the 21st of October in Baroda, drawing inspiration from our gurus Shri. Vasantrao Kaptan and Shri. Shankarrao alias Baburao Surve. Remembering their versatility and ardent interest in various activities, YSC decided to focus not only on sports but the overall development of personality and character of the greenhorns who joined the institute. As a result, today YSC can boast of its contribution to different walks of social life in the city of Vadodara, however, sports always remained our forte.
Late Shrimant Ranjitsinh Gaekwad and Shri Sanat Mehta have been our esteemed founders/patrons and Smt. Aruna Mehta our Aadi Shakti. They have been with us all through our journey.
Today we have a competent team of experts, who are at key positions in their respective professions.
